Sewer System Improvement Oversight Committee

Mission Statement:

Assure that the City has an efficient sanitary sewer system and is in compliance with regulations established by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ).

Objective:

The SSIOC works with the City Engineer and staff to identify existing problems, establish priority solutions and recommend phased action plans and bond issues to accomplish results in the most cost-effective manner.

There are nine voting members on the SSIOC including one voting City Council Representative.  The non-voting City Staff advisor is the City Engineer.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the City Center Council Conference Room.
