POLYCARTS: SIZES & RATES

The City of Bartlesville provides one 96 gallon polycart to every residential property or commercial property not using a commercial container. Occupants can acquire a cart of a different capacity, or acquire additional carts for $9 per month fee per additional cart by calling 918.338.4224.

Every owner and occupant of a residential property, or commercial property with cart service, will have refuse collected and disposed of once a week on a scheduled collection day as set on this map.

COLLECTION DATES & TIMES

All residential customers must have their carts placed at the collection point no later than 6 a.m. the morning of collection. All residential carts must be removed from the collection point no later than 10 p.m. the day of collection. All commercial customers must have carts placed at the collection point no later than 5 a.m. the morning of collection.

When a holiday falls on a scheduled collection day, the affected residential route  will be serviced on Wednesday of the same week, whether the holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.

BAGGING REQUIREMENTS

All waste is to be bagged and placed inside the cart. Carts should be loosely packed so that contents will discharge freely when the cart is inverted.

Any residential waste that is outside the cart must be bagged or bundled and must have the appropriate refuse disposal sticker affixed to each bag or bundle outside the cart.

STICKERS

Yard Waste — GREEN

Household — RED

Stickers are available for purchase at local Quik Trip locations and City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.

Stickers are not allowed for commercial customers.

The monthly fee for each additional cart is $9 per cart per month.
The fee for each “red” refuse sticker is $2.50 per sticker.
The fee for each “green” yard waste sticker is $1 per sticker.

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS

Commercial customers using a two or three yard container have a minimum collection of once a week with a maximum of six times. Monthly fees are determined by container size and frequency of service.

In the event additional collections per week are requested beyond the normal scheduled collections per week, there will be a charge of $5 per cart and $20 per 2 cubic yard container and $25 per 3 cubic yard container.

ROLL-OFF SERVICE

Roll-off service is also available to residential and commercial customers with 20 to 30 yard roll-offs available. Disposal fees are based on the weight of the materials in the unit.  Anyone wishing to rent a roll-off is required to have an active account with a current balance through the City of Bartlesville.  If you do not have an active account, a deposit of $186 is required to establish the account. This deposit can be refunded at the time services are discontinued or the deposit can be applied to towards the account.

Notice: Illegal dumping of material on vacant lots or at residences will be investigated by the Code Enforcement Division and violators will be prosecuted. Any business and/or contractor, tree removal, or construction contractor involved in remodeling, building, construction, or other projects is responsible for hauling any bulky waste from work site to the area landfill. Such items are not eligible for the City’s waste collection service.

STREET SWEEPING

The Sanitation Department is also responsible for the sweeping of city streets. The program is operated with two street sweepers each consisting of one operator. See also: Street Maintenance
