REFUSE & RECYCLING

SOLID WASTE/SANITATION COLLECTION

The City of Bartlesville provides waste collection service to residential and commercial customers including once a week collections for residents and a maximum of six pickups a week for commercial customers.

Automated trucks are used to lift polycarts, which are issued to each customer when service is established. Additional polycarts are available for a small fee.

YARD WASTE

Yard waste is collected as excess waste if it is tagged/sticker. The City provides two free yard waste collections each year, usually in the spring and fall. See Yard Debris Collection information below.

BULKY WASTE

Bulky waste items, or large items such as furniture and appliances, are not collected by the City but may be disposed of at the Osage Landfill at no extra cost by using the City’s clean-up coupon program.

DAYS OF SERVICE

Days of service vary depending on the area, and can be determined by viewing the City’s sanitation routes map.

HOLIDAYS

During weeks containing a holiday, customers who would normally have their trash collected on that day will be serviced on Wednesday that week instead. This is the case whether your normal collection day falls before Wednesday or after.

For a list of holidays this year, see 2025 Holiday Calendar. Notices are also published on the City’s website, in the City’s e-newsletter, CityBeat, on the City Calendar, and provided to local media for distribution prior to each holiday.

RATES

Residential and commercial rates depend on the services provided, and may be upgraded at any time.
