The new decorative fencing and gate approved by voters in the 2018 General Obligation Bond Election was installed at Kiddie Park this week. The sign and fence are part of several upgrades being made in the Kiddie Park area, located in Johnstone Park. Additional upgrades include an extension of Pathfinder Parkway, 55 new parking spaces south of Kiddie Park and road improvements. Funding for these portions of the project are provided partially through the voter-approved half-cent Capital Improvement Projects sales tax and the 2012 G.O. Bond Election.
