A come and go reception will be held for outgoing Fire Chief John Banks from 2-4 p.m. on June 30.
Banks will retire at the end of the month after 42 years of service with the Bartlesville Fire Department.
“As reluctant as I am to let him go, I know I will be the first in line to thank Chief Banks for his dedication and service to the community and his steadfast leadership of the fire department over these many years,” said City Manager Mike Bailey. “This is a great opportunity for everyone to stop by and wish Chief Banks well as he begins the next chapter of his life.”
The reception will be held in the Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
