Sooner Pool, located at 420 S.E. Madison Blvd. in Bartlesville, opened Saturday for the summer season, but Frontier Pool remains closed due to a maintenance issue with the main pump.
Sooner Pool opened on Saturday, June 27. Pool hours are noon to 6 p.m., seven days a week. The Sooner Park Splash Pad is open as well.
Frontier Pool, located at 312 S.W. Virginia Ave., opened on June 6 but was closed on June 25 due to problems with the main circulation pump impeller. The pool remained closed through the weekend and in to this week due to difficulty in finding the parts needed to repair the pump. The parts are now on order and the pool will open as soon as they are received and the repairs can be made. Public Works officials say that could be as early as next week.
